When the President first started talking about health care reform, politicians are talking about preventative medicine by law, but it's all fake.
In my opinion, he is right. John McCain agreed with him, and that by emphasizing prevention, we can cut health care costs.
The problem is that the idea of legislating preventative medicine in order to reduce health care costs and improve the health of Americans is a complete fantasy. First, you understand that what they were talking about was the national health care reform, and what we found when it was all said and done, the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act," PPACA as need is known.
People should understand that PPACA is not about health care. It's about health insurance. There is a difference. In addition, there is no health care at present, any insurance company that has something to do with preventative medicine is run by the model. Preventative medicine is currently no way that an insurance company, hospital, or could be provided by the government does not exist.
Kaiser currently is associated with the insurance company that is trying to prevent, but do they really? Blueberry Peggy Bundy where he is and talks about yoga, but when Caesar was the last time you eat a blueberry, or you were forced to sum to saturate the airwaves with? For those who have these commercials?
or injured, sick and really should be called insurance.
However, mammograms and other screening tests, prostate exams, although a good idea, preventative medicine are not. Mammograms Breast cancer more than any X-ray does not prevent to prevent broken ankles. Diagnose the disease in its early stages to improve their treatment outcomes, but not prevention, so why are we calling it?
Prevention of the disease or condition is not in the first place. Disease is prevented by a person's lifestyle, and lifestyle choices. Do not take my word for it.The government is capable of legislating our choices, and therefore unable to prevent the law is not.
With this post I'm not trying to make a downer. I just hope people make the speech by the insurance companies and the politicians take it all marketing and looking for what it is. They are telling you that you want to hear good things because it makes them look good and you feel good, but they can not deliver.
Health and fitness is like a college degree. Someone give it to you, and you can not buy it. You earned it, and the payoff is huge. Disease prevention is just one of many benefits.
If you are really interested in prevention, and the health and fitness, here are some great resources. Here's Linus Pauling Institute, which is run by Oregon State University can begin. Start by learning "Health Rx." Website to provide you with all of the general rule, designed and you do not sell anything.
In addition, 19 health, like right here in Sacramento, gym, gym membership is $ 15.00 per month, and sometimes less.
